During the day, crowds fill in the outdoor patios for a delicious seaside snack and street performers tirelessly entertain with various acts. Talented magicians, human robots, musicians, jugglers, clowns and fire-eaters take pride in their efforts to make you feel welcome in San Francisco.
Later on, the famous fog begins to work its way back into the Bay and a setting sun casts a golden glow on the skyline and majestic bridgework. People and traffic begin to flow down Jefferson Street sampling the sights, sounds, and of course the San Francisco cuisine.
The blanket of fog should be far enough away for a great look at all points of interest. Now is the time to grab a close up view of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, or the top of Coit Tower! During the night a well lit downtown offers much to view around the clock. Wish the City by the Bay goodnight as lights dotting the skyline vanish one by one.
